Ben Pham – a riverside campsite, located in Cam Phu Village – Dien Phong – Dien Ban Town – Quang Nam Province, 15km away from Hoi An City and 20km away from Da Nang City. Arriving at Ben Pham, it is like entering a place, occupied only for nature lovers.
Camping here, you will be immersed in the natural world, to escape the busy life. This is an opportunity for you to drift along the river on a small, rustic boat, immerse yourself into a poetic and lyrical space. It is like a journey to the past, to your childhood when camping and sleeping together in a small tent, watching the night sky and counting the twinkling stars. From the tent, you will probably be mesmerized by the peaceful and tranquil scenery by the Thu Bon River.
Program description & duration of 2 days 1 night – transportations: bicycle, tourism boat
The weekend is an ideal time for families to plan trips to rural areas, where they could rediscover their childhood imprints through stories about the village, connect with villagers, explore unique features and enjoy local specialties such as Quang noodles, Be Thui Cau Mong… and experience an overnight stay in a tent.
From the start, you would be cycling around the village, visit the communal house of the Cam Lau village, the Hai Da Memorial. The next stop would be the Ben Pham ecotourism destination, where you will receive a tent for resting.
A boat trip on the river would be ideal to watch the sunset with a drink on the side, to fall in love with vast fields of vegetables on the mudflats, people coming back and forth from the river after a productive day, to understand how the natives live their lives.
As the night falls, a farm-to-table menu, such as chicken, mixed jackfruit, fried mussels would be readily available for you to explore the simple, yet fresh flavor that we have here, in a tranquil atmosphere.
As the sun rises, your first impression will definitely be a wood stove with a pot of green tea on top, which comes with a breath of fresh air. Breakfast will be served with local specialties (Quang noodles, Vietnamese style pancakes), with a Detox on the side.
After the breakfast, you are free to explore, chit chat with your friends and relatives, and the children are able to have fun with traditional games, such as breaking pots, seesaws, marbles, … And that is the end of the journey…
